Can't get enough of Shun Oguri.

SHUN OGURI

First saw him at "Hanayori Dango" (2005, 2007)with the role of Rui Hanazawa, but actually he even starred as a bullied student in GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka, 1998). He even debuted as Uchi in "Gokusen" (2002) and played the lead role of Shinichi Kudou in "Detective Conan".

The truth is, I didn't even notice him at Hanayori Dango, because I was enamored by Tsukasa Domyuji (Jun Matsumoto) and Tsukushi Makino's (Mao Inoue) romance way back then. But to be honest, that is where he looked best. I noticed him again when he played the leading man Izumi Sano in a drama entitled "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" or better known as "Hana Kimi".

In a popular anime entitled Bleach (still an ongoing series) I even joked that he could pass off as Gin Ichimaru, because of the "foxy face" he posses... or maybe its because of the eyes?? ^^

Lately, I have been watching a Japanese action film (can be a gore film like Kill Bill, but this movie is dramatic) entitled "Azumi", wherein he plays as the lead character's love interest as Nachi. But sadly, in the early part of the film, the heroine slays him, because they were ordered to fight each other. ;( But, anyway, Oguri comes back in "Azumi 2: Death or Love" and plays a s Ginkaku, a bandit who has a striking resemblance to Nachi. and there, he plays a major role.
